I'm back!!

Hello friends! I'm back after a long gap..so sorry but I'm having trouble with blogger, and apparently it's them not me. How are you all??! I am well and plodding along one day at a time. Winter has just left us here in Australia, and Spring has begun! I hope it stays awhile..summer is not fun lol  but, we continue and I'm thankful for each day. So, onto my card! I got a new die set from Kaisercraft recently, when they started selling online. Everything half price so a good buy!! It's called Flloral Cluster and has 9 dies. I also used one of their embossing folders as well but it's no longer available. I stamped a few times in the background with a stamp from SU Gorgeous Grunge set, and added a few tiny bling. I love how it turned out! I hope you get to see my post and there are no problems. Thanks so much if you have stayed around , and thank you for your comments. I appreciate each one. Happy 50th Rhoda !

Hi friends! This card was made for a dear friend for her 50th.. She loves Purple , so was easy to make a beautiful card using the papers and butterflies from Lemoncrafts Violet Silence . The butterflies are on a sheet and you have to fussy cut them, but I enjoy fussy cutting!  I think it turned out lovely, and I know she was happy with it. The 50 was die cut using MFT big numbers. Shadow Box Mothers Day Card!

Hi friends! How are you all? It's March and finally over the last 2 days has cooled down!! Hopefully summer has gone and we can enjoy Autumm 😀 Now on to my card! I watched a you tube of this fancy card tutorial, and had to try one as it looked pretty easy, and was. So I used some Graphic 45 "A Ladies Diary" paper and flowers from my stash, and love how it turned out!!!  I think my mum will love it too. Mother's Day here is on the second Sunday in May, so a few weeks away yet, but I'm now ready with my card! Thank you for popping by and many blessings xx 

Happy birthday Billy! ( goodbye summer!!!)

Hi friends! Sorry it's been awhile between posts, I have been making cards, mainly for my card sets for church, but also it's been horribly humid here, and without air con my craft room is a no go area! We do have air con in our bedroom, but only use it when the humidity is high at night. Electricity is very expensive here in Australia, so we have to be careful. Thank goodness today is the last day of summer woohoo!! So looking forward to cooler days! The next 9 months will be a relief! We don't have extreme cold in our winters so it's nice to to rug up and wear jumpers for a change. Average temperature here in southern Queensland in Winter is 6-20 Celsius. Which is around 42-68 f. Ok, so onto my card! The 26th was my hubbys birthday! He lovesthe beach, so I made this card for him using a collection from Kaisercraft called Sandy toes. I used a sketch  I think it was from MFT, and loved  how it turned out. He loved it too! The background paper was glossy ( from the 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 pad) but I did put glossy accents on the thongs ( you call them flip flops lol )  I do hope you are well my friends, and excited to be going into Spring I can imagine! A tribute to Jacqui McNeill.

Hi friends! It's been 5 years since Jacqui McNeill owner and designer of The Digi Garden passed away, so I wanted to pay tribute to her by making a few cards with her ever so cute digis.i had so much fun making the first one I had to keep going!! I do basic colouring and I'm happy with that, and just used papers from my stash. I really love the last card with the cake, but didn't think that it was a lot of candles fior a little girl lol, but hey, I'd send these to any of my friends not just little girls. Happy birthday Pastor Mike !

Hi friends! This Sunday will be our Pastors birthday, so we are going to surprise him with a cake and this card, which I am getting everyone to sign. I used a 6x6 paper from Kaisercrafts Sail Away collection and the stamp is from STAMPlorations Typography of Faith. I stamped it and embossed with gold. The sentiment is a die cut from the paper pad. Happy Australia Day!

Hello friends! January 26th is Australia Day.. Everyone is either at the beach, a park or having a bbq at home by the pool. Me, I'm in my happy place making cards!  I used a sketch for the first 2 then decided to use up some paper and just keep creating! I used Kaisercrafts Sandy Toes collection (Aussie company and Aussie theme, very appropriate for today !) and love how they all turned out! Happy 2018!

Hi friends! Happy new year!! Hope you are all well.  Sorry I haven't been blogging, no reason really as I have been making lots of cards, just have to get back in the swing! It's been extremely hot here in the last week or so, and I don't craft much as we don't have air con in the house just the bedroom which, we finally used Saturday night as the overnight temps were in the high 20s ( Celsius) and we wouldn't have slept much. We don't use it unless it's extreme as the electricity costs are too high. That's our summer! Anyhoo, my card today is using a new set I got recently MFT Flamazing. I just love it but at first couldn't figure out how to die cut the images as you stamp them in multiple parts, but die cut it once it's fully stamped. I ended up watching a YouTube of MFT and using my MISTI, I got it done. Spent today die cutting a bunch of images. This card was before I learnt how to, so it's just stamped. Krystle's Card.

Hi friends. Sorry I've not been posting, I've been sort of busy doing Christmas cards for orders. Hope you are all well and finding time to make a card or 2! This card was an order for a lady at church. Her daughter turned 30 last month. It's a simple card with a stencilled background Kaisercraft topper and dies for the 30 and birthday. Vintage Wedding Card.

Hi friends. My daughter needed a wedding card and asked me to make one vintage style. I used  Graphic 45 Le Romantique paper where I really didn't do much to it. I fussy cut some flowers, distressed the edges, added a sentiment from SU, lace and some pearls. Easy. Thanks for popping by and many blessings xx 

Papertry Ink Inspired God card set.

Hello friends! I made this set of cards using the PTI Inspired God stamps and die. I also used Cheery Lynn butterfly trio dies, and Coutour Creations embossing folders from the Romantique collection. New stamps from STAMPlorations

Hi friends! I just got 9 new Stamps from the STAMPlorations TYPOGRAFIA IN FAITH collection. My lovely friend Ina, alerted me to them, she knows me well! When I saw they were KJV scripture I had to get them. Absolutely wonderful big bold sentiments and I will be getting the rest ASAP! Here's my first card with "Thy Word is a Lamp stamp".  I embossed it in gold on very vanilla card then die cut with a stitched rectangle,  I added that to a card base which I layered with some old SU paper, and a strip of gold washi tape. Done! The sentiment is the star! I will be adding this to STAMPlorations never ending challenge. Thanks for popping by, many blessings xx
