He is good!

Hi all! Today has been a very different day, it was my last day at work after 9 years. Not because I wanted to stop working, but our shop was sold and so we have to look for other jobs...not something I want to do, at my age, but that's life! I was quite stressed this morning , knowing it was the end and having to say goodbye, so in my Bible reading I came across this verse and I recited it over and over to help me through my day! I didn't even realize that this card I was putting up had the same verse until just now! It is a digi, and I'm not sure where it came from but think the Doodle Pantry? I think it was a free one as well! The beautiful DP is from SU and I think it's called Bella Rose...love it! Yes HE is good!  TFL! Many blessings xxx

Amazing Grace!

Hi friends! Back with another card I made on holidays from the same set from The Crafts Meow, Beautiful Hymns! I just love this set, sorry if I keep saying that but I think it will be one of my favs! The DP is from Kaisercraft and it's called Flora Delight, one of their new collections...just beautiful!! The collections come with a pack of die cut shapes , words, tags, flowers and frames , depending on the collection, and I used a tag behind the sentiment.
That song is very special and tonight we Independant Baptists, celebrate The Lords Supper, the last supper Jesus had with his disciples , the night before he was crucified , paying for our sins , so we can live eternally with Him in heaven! Praise His name!!Amazing Grace indeed! TFL! Many blessings xxx

Nice to be back!

Hi friends! Well we had a wonderful holiday down the Gold Coast, and even though, because of all the erosion from the cyclones and storms this year, we couldn't get to the beach through the gate of where we stayed (right on the beach), we still had a lovely time. and the 2 weeks we stayed was the best weather we have had all year!Thank you Lord!  So relaxing sitting listening to the ocean. I managed to make a few simple cards while I was there..in the quiet times in the evening, and even though the lighting was bad in the living area, I took a lamp from our bedroom and put that on the table and that did the trick!

The sentiment is from  a fabulous set from THE CRAFTS MEOW, and I think it's called Beautiful Hymns? I just love this set of verses from some beautiful hymns we sing at our church..just had to have it lol!!The DP is from Graphic 45 Bird Song paper, I think Graphic 45 is my fav paper I use..just so gorgeous!! TFL , and have a blessed week! *hugs & blessings*

CAS Cards for Church Card Ministry.

Hi friends!Today I have just a few of the cards I made  for my card ministry at my church, and because I have to make quite a lot and they are sent in the mail, they must be CAS, and I found some great ideas on Pinterest, and with a little help from my SU stamps and ink, I came up with these little beauties! Imagine That! Challenge Card.

Hi friends! I have the second progressive challenge card from IMAGINE THAT! This was out of my comfort zone, but I enjoyed making it very much! This is Kathleen, an Irish dancer and the sentiment was included. I used paper from my stash and some twine, I likey!! Imagine That! also sells another Irish dancer, and sentiments AND some beautiful papers to match!! TFL! Many blessings!!! xx

My New "Fav" Stamp Set!!

Happy LORDS day friends! I am showing you just one of many cards I have made with my favorite stamp set at the moment STIPPLED BLOSSOMS from SU. I just love it!! Because it is a two step set, it is so easy to get beautiful flowers every time with little effort. I have used a Couture Creations EF called Annalee, one of many I have of that collection, they are gorgeous! The stamp is from SU also, just a single wood mount, and it is meant to be on an angle I think..not sure if I like it that way or not...mmm. A few little pearls set it off , don't you think? TFL!!
